Matt Glew

Matt joined Quilam in 2021 and has 20 years of experience in Financial Services.  Matt previously worked in a variety of customer facing roles at RBS/NatWest spanning Real Estate Finance, Fund Finance and Speciality Finance where he spent six years as a Relationship Director in the bank’s Large Corporates & Institutions division with overall responsibility for banking relationships, origination, product sales and client strategy.  Matt’s client base consisted entirely of businesses operating in the bridging, consumer finance, leasing, mortgage, SME finance, debt purchase and MSB sectors, with combined committed senior debt limits in excess of £600m.

Matt has a proven track record in supporting specialist lenders of varying sizes and at different stages in their life cycles, from early stage growth through to capital market issuances.  Matt has a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies from the University of Brighton.  Away from finance, Matt enjoys music and golf and is a football fanatic. He is currently the Co-Manager of his son’s football team Hampton & Richmond Youth FC U9’s.
